Data controller
Casona Cicero, located at Calle 18 x 19 #90, Col. Itzimná, C.P. 97100, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, operated by Manolo Cicero Aranda, is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and this privacy notice.
You can reach us at info@casonacicero.com or by phone at +52 999 125 6448.
To run the website, sell tickets and send email, we rely on these providers, which process data on our behalf and under our instructions (data processors):
- Cloudflare: website hosting, order database and bot protection (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
- Resend: email delivery, including your tickets (https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).
- Stripe and Mercado Pago: payment processing. Besides processing payment data on our behalf, each uses some of it for its own fraud-prevention and legal-compliance purposes, under its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy and https://www.mercadopago.com.mx/privacidad).
Personal data we process
Depending on what you do with us, we process the following personal data:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The event details you share with us when requesting a quote (type of event, approximate date, number of guests, and anything you include in your message)
- If you buy tickets: what you bought, the amount, the payment method, the payment reference and the entry record of each ticket (the day and time its QR code was scanned)
- Only if you paid at OXXO and are owed a refund: bank, account holder and CLABE, which are financial data; we ask for your express consent to use them, solely to transfer your refund
- During events: your image in photos and video
We never receive or store your card number: the payment processor captures and handles it.
We do not request or process sensitive personal data as defined under Mexican data-protection law.
Purposes that do not require your consent
We use your personal data, without needing your consent, to:
- Handle and respond to your quote request.
- Follow up on the booking of your event.
- Issue, charge for and send you your tickets with QR codes, and validate your entry.
- Notify you of changes, cancellations or practical information about the event you bought tickets for.
- Process refunds and handle questions, complaints and claims.
- Prevent fraud and meet the obligations that come with that relationship, for example tax or contractual obligations.
Purposes that do require your consent
With your additional consent, we use your personal data to send you marketing communications and the Casona Cicero newsletter. When you buy tickets, the opt-in box comes checked and you can uncheck it; if you leave it checked, you consent tacitly (article 7 of Mexico's data-protection law). Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Also to publish, on the Casona Cicero and artists' website and social media, event photos and video in which you can be recognized. You can object by telling us at the entrance or writing to info@casonacicero.com, without affecting your entry.
You may decline any of these purposes without it affecting your request, your purchase or your event.
How to limit the use or disclosure of your data
You can stop receiving marketing communications and the newsletter at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by writing to info@casonacicero.com.
ARCO rights
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it if inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is no longer needed for the purposes stated here, and object to its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights, as defined under Mexican law).
To exercise these rights, write to info@casonacicero.com. Your request should include:
- Your full name and a way to reach you with our response.
- Documents that prove your identity, or your representative's authority, as applicable.
- A clear, precise description of the personal data you want to exercise the right over.
- The ARCO right you want to exercise or what you are requesting.
- Any document that helps us locate your personal data.
Exercising these rights is free. You would only cover shipping, reproduction or certification costs for documents when justified.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw, at any time, any consent you gave us to process your data. Write to info@casonacicero.com telling us which consent you want to withdraw. We will stop processing your data for that purpose, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep doing so.
Use of tracking technologies
This site does not use analytics cookies, third-party cookies, or advertising tracking pixels.
It only stores, in your own browser's local storage, the language you chose, so we don't have to ask again. That information never leaves your device and is not shared with anyone.
When you buy tickets, the payment page belongs to Stripe or Mercado Pago, and the bot check belongs to Cloudflare (Turnstile); each uses its own technologies under its own privacy policy.
Minors
We do not sell tickets to minors: an adult makes the purchase. On family days, we do not publish images in which a minor can be recognized without the consent of the adult accompanying them.
Data transfers
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties, except to authorities that require it under the law.
Retention
Purchase data is kept for 5 years to meet tax obligations. Event entry records are kept for 1 year and then deleted.
Authority
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the competent authority under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties published on March 20, 2025.

We may update this privacy notice. Any change is published at this same address, with the most recent update date shown below.
